关于房间内的设计1.床离卫生间的门起码不得小于200㎝，因为服务员需要一定的操作空间;2.客房的地毯要耐用防污甚至防火，尽可能不要用浅色或纯色的，现今，有很多的客房地面是复合木地板，既实用又卫生而且温馨舒适，是值得推广的材料;3.客房家具的角好都是钝角或圆角的，这样不会给年龄小个子不高的客人带来伤害;

9.行李台的设计往往不受重视，很多酒店客房的行李台木质台边的漆被撞得凹凸不平，若采用这样的行李台其软包部分后能由平面转到立面上来，并且有50㎝左右的厚度，可防止行李箱的碰撞;也可采用活动式的行李架，但墙壁上要做好防撞的设计。有的酒店的防撞板是18mm的厚玻璃，既新颖有个性，又实用;10.艺术品如挂画，好选用原创的国画或油画，不管水平高低，总比电脑打印的装饰画值得一挂，而从侧面体现酒店管理者的品味;11.电脑上网线路的布置要考虑周到，其插座的位置不要离写字台太远，拖得太长的连接线也显得不是那么雅观。
